New Age Religion!

In this article, I am referring to the practice of dealing with "spiritual" elements, or focusing on having "spiritual" experiences. THIS is where the danger lies and as with everything that deals with false spirituality, there are grains of truth mixed in with the lies.

In truth, there is nothing "NEW" about "New Age Religion." This type of belief system stems back to thousands of years before Christianity even existed. The use of instruments such as rocks, gems, pendulums, Mediums and many other similar "tools" has been with us for many thousands of years, in one form or another. That shouldn't surprise you, especially when you learn about the source of such things.

If you don't know anything about New Age Religion, don't worry, you're better off. Understand, though, that there is a VERY REAL POWER behind the "exciting" events and results many people experience. Why else would so many people be moving in that direction? Most people aren't stupid. They won't get involved in something that isn't bringing at least SOME measure of activity or success in their lives. But, WHAT exactly is moving people in this direction?

The answer is, there's a missing element of KNOWLEDGE AND POWER in people's lives. Not physical knowledge or physical power, but of SPIRITUAL power. This spiritual deficiency is the result of mankind's choice to go his own way. Just as sure as you can have a mineral or vitamin deficiency by not getting certain elements in your diet, you can have a spiritual deficiency because you are not receiving a missing spiritual ingredient in your life.

That missing element isn't something we can physically measure DIRECTLY. We can only INDIRECTLY measure this deficiency. The "symptoms" express themselves through how we, as human beings, relate to each other, and how we act in this world. Have you ever looked at some of the incredible evils in the world and not wondered what in the world is wrong? We all have. What's wrong is there is a serious world wide deficiency in the RIGHT SPIRIT, that essence that comes from a power far greater than ourselves.

The sad thing about this deficiency is that most people are deceived by the many artificial substitutes which so many use to try to fill this void. Everything from drugs, to sex, to a host of physical pursuits, all the way over to witchcraft, ghosts, "extraterrestrials," New Age Religion, and yes, even traditional religious thought. Is that too hard to believe?

Revelation 12:9 "So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him." (Emphasis mine throughout)

If you are serious about the truth, then you shouldn't be afraid to look at EVERY source of supposed "knowledge" to find answers. That includes the Bible. If you do a serious study, you will find that many aspects of New Age Religion are condemned in the Bible by the superbeing who calls Himself God. WHY? Because He knew this spiritual deficiency would exist and that certain other powers in the universe could easily deceive mankind into believing and accepting other "sources" that contradict the Bible and God Himself.

Remember, the mind of mankind is on the same frequency as this other power source, so it isn't surprising that so many people can be lured into so many conflicting religions, ideas and beliefs that exist today. Christianity itself is so divided on so many aspects of the Bible that none of them can agree on much of it. Nations kill each other in the name of the same God, or kill others in the name of some other god. Does this make sense?

Ephesians 2:2 "... in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience"

Can you see how well orchestrated this division is? Look at the results over the past 6000 years of human history. Of course, we are gaining in physical knowledge in leaps and bounds, but the state of our world worsens by the month. That isn't pessimism, this is observing reality. Ignoring it won't change it or make it go away. As long as mankind looks to the wrong "god," or the wrong "tool," or the wrong "power," we will be open to greater deceptions, which WILL UNDOUBTEDLY OCCUR IN OUR FUTURE. If you have any belief in what the Bible says, you might like to check it out. It is all quite plain.

Could Hollywood create a scenario for a science fiction story like this one? THEY ALREADY HAVE MANY TIMES. Humanity, being taken over and deceived by another race of beings, who have the goal of destroying our civilization and world? How many science fiction movies have you seen with that theme? I've seen dozens. That is the main theme of MOST of them. We all LOVE movies like that and flock to them when they open. Independence Day? Invaders? Arrival? The list is quite long.

So WHY are we so interested in such themes, and so desirous of anything involving "contact" with other civilizations out in space? Could it be because we were created to NEED this contact? Is it possible that our preoccupation with forces greater than ourselves, whether true or deceptive, stems from this spiritual deficiency? Why is it so easy to accept the idea of other beings out in space, UFO's, "First Contact," alien crash sites, ghosts, Channeling through "other dimensional creatures," yet we recoil and resist any aspect of God and religion and truth being the core of such drives?

Remember this: A person who is deceived, doesn't KNOW they are deceived. If they DID know, they, of course, wouldn't really be deceived. Deception is defined by Webster this way. "To cause to believe an untruth." That means any one of us could have a set of beliefs that we are willing to die for, and yet actually be deceived about that belief. The belief could be so real, so personal that we have no doubts about its "truthfulness."

How can such a state of deception occur in so many people? One BIG answer is that we have not collectively accepted a common code of conduct. We have no established pattern for modeling our behavior as a race. When this is the reality, it is IMPOSSIBLE TO HAVE UNITY, PEACE AND SIMILAR GOALS. When no one accepts a common code, all that is left is to do what seems right in each of our own minds. Since we are all individuals, how many directions do you think there could be to move in?

If you were an enemy of a nation, and saw that they accepted no standard for conduct or direction in life, what would be the best way to conquer them? Do you think you would have to send in mighty armies with millions of soldiers to conquer them. NO! All you would have to do is introduce as many ideas and concepts that are intellectual appealing, yet false, which would further divide them into conflicting groups, and simply allow them to destroy themselves. NO FORCE, NO WAR. Just a little time and some subtle deceits.

Do you think New Age Religion ISN'T intellectually appealing? Being told that you are a "spiritual" being and that you have so much more to look forward to and to experience? Getting involved in "knowledge" that is supposedly "secret" and "hidden," and that you NEED these "helpers" to get you to the better "plain" of existence? Opening yourself up to contact by one of these "helpers?" Sounds exciting. Sounds appealing and motivating. Well, if you have a spiritual deficiency, and don't understand any of it, don't you think you could be deceived by substitutes that masquerade as truth?

2 Cor 11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

transformed = NT:3345 metaschematizo (met-askh-ay-mat-id'-zo); from NT:3326 and a derivative of NT:4976; to transfigure or disguise; figuratively, to apply (by accommodation): KJV - transfer, transform (self).

These beings who are enemies of God and man disguise themselves as helpers of mankind. They attempt to deceive mankind into believing lies and that they are here to help humanity. This is a great deception.

No one likes the idea that what they believe could be wrong. That is why it is so easy to keep people deceived. They don't bother to prove anything by any standard. They resist changing and are even willing to fight to defend what is untrue, simply because THEY believe it to be true. Why examine anything that you already "know" to be true? What better army could you have then a group of people who believe something you are trying to sell, and who refuse to examine that belief or concept for truthfulness? You have an army of blind slaves who will continue to be "used" for your purpose.

The last thing you would want is for anyone to begin questioning the belief, or worse yet, trying to prove it true or false. If you think you are dealing with a simple human mind, with all of its limitations, you are seriously underestimating the enemy. The mind that is responsible for the world's evils and confusion is actually a genius, a pathological criminal and evil mind that has all the bases covered when it comes to how he is influencing mankind's direction. Whether you look at our social, religious, educational, medical, political or environmental systems, unless you are ignoring the facts, you can't help but realize that something is seriously wrong with them.

This being, known as Satan, isn't stupid enough to sabotage our systems so much that we destroy ourselves quickly. Because we have minds and can think, we would easily see such a threat. However, slowly manipulate things, allow just enough truth to make it believable, but enough lie and deception to destroy, and you have the perfect time bomb that can't fail. It does just enough damage to continually thwart mankind's success, spiritually speaking, but doesn't do so much that we all stop and take stock of reality. Satan's goal is the total destruction of mankind and this earth. He has targeted EVERY area mankind is involved with in life.

There is a prophecy in Matthew 24:22 that reads:

"And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect's sake those days will be shortened."

This is talking about the end time tribulation described in the Bible. When you understand the entire plan, you will begin to see what the Bible says is true. God specifically warns us that there will be great signs and wonders done by some on this earth that will convince the world that they are true "prophets" of the true God. After all, who isn't convinced by what they "see, hear and experience?"

2 Thessalonians 2:9 "The coming of the [lawless one] is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders,"

Matthew 24:24 "For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect."

This great deception will culminate in the worst evil and horrors this world has ever seen...

Matthew 24:21 "For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be."

All this will be done in the name of "God." People will be so deceived by all that has led up to these events, and by the "miracles," that they will be convinced, when the true Christ returns to this planet, that we are being invaded from "outer space" to be "conquered" and destroyed. Remember all the movies with that theme? This is conditioning us to expect this when we see signs in the heavens. The nations will literally congregate to fight the true Christ when He comes believing HIM to be an invader from space because He will be coming in the clouds of heaven with signs in the heavens... just like the movie, Independence Day, and the space ships. Talk about deception.

Revelation 19:19 "And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army."

Remember, just because things go "bump in the night," or someone can get things to "do things," doesn't mean you are dealing with the right side. Remember Star Wars and "The Force?" Remember the "Dark Side of the Force?" Well, there is some truth to this, although the power of the "Dark Side" is nothing compared to the "good" side. Satan is a created being and it is impossible for him to be anywhere close to the power of the creator. He thinks he can win, yet also knows he has only a limited amount of time to try his plan. That shows you how insane this mind really is.

Unless you prepare yourself for what is coming on this earth in the way of lies and deceits, you won't escape the deception and will be caught up in the middle of it. It will take a close contact with the true God and the true power of the universe to rise above what will overtake most of humanity, all in the name of truth and religion. How ready are YOU?

If you are involved with New Age religion, it would serve you well to re-think your position in light of this information. There is naturally some very good things about the New Age movement. Remember that there is always good mixed in with lies and deception. That's why it works so well. Nice package around what is trying to be sold. However, the danger is in swallowing the garbage along with the good.

If you want exciting things to happen, hope to contact some "beings" existing elsewhere, or other such "intellectually romantic notions," you can be sure you will probable get what you want. You are simply opening yourself up to forces that would otherwise not be able to reach that level of "contact" with you. These powers are very real and VERY DANGEROUS, especially when you invite them in. They have one goal, no matter how much they may seemingly "help."

2 Corinthians 11:14-15 "And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. 15 Therefore [it is] no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness..."

You see, if you allow the plain facts and truth to speak to you, you can escape from the web of deceit that permeates the whole world. There are two plans taking place on this earth, to be sure. One is good, one is evil. You have a choice to decide your whether to study this out or not. You had better have the truth and facts in order to make the right decision.
