The "God Kind?"
The God Kind!!!
Our Destiny is NO less than being created exactly as Christ,
the son of God and who is a God Being Himself!
That is an "unbelievable" statement,
I realize, but when you study the Bible and "rightly
divide" all the scriptures, you will see that this is the
amazing destiny that awaits mankind as God Himself reveals it.
Notice the Collective Proof:
What does God intend for
Mankind?
Consider carefully just these first few
scriptures regarding the Plan of God:
Genesis 1:24 And God said, Let the earth bring
forth the living creature after his kind, cattle,
and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his
kind: and it was so.
Genesis 1:25 And God made the beast of the
earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind,
and every thing that creeps upon the earth after his
kind: and God saw that [it was] good.
Simply stated here in the book that claims to
be the very mind of God, animal life on this planet was created
"after it's KIND." However, next we
read of a profound event:
Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man
In Our Image, After our Likeness:
and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and
over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the
earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps
upon the earth.
This, for those who have the eyes to see and
the ears to hear, is the very first hint of what the
"Family" we know of as God (Hebrew, Elohim, is plural,
meaning more than one involved) has in mind for
MAN kind.
You see, this creation of the "kind"
called man (male and female) was different than the creation of
animal "kind." The genetic work done was patterned, not after the
animal kind, but after the very image and likeness of God.
However, lest you jump to conclusions prior to getting the whole
story and time elements, MAN kind, as he is NOW, is NOT fully
created after The God kind. . . YET.
Let me explain further.
God created mankind to be "head"
over the earth and all things on it...
Genesis 5:3 "And Adam lived an hundred
and thirty years, and begat [a son] in his own likeness, after
his image; and called his name Seth:"
Man, as a physical being, creates after HIS
own kind, according to how God set up the reproduction
processes. God is doing nothing less in creating humanity, but in stages.
Isaiah 64:8 "But now, O LORD, you [art]
our father; we [are] the clay, and you our potter; and we all
[are] the work of your hand."
Mal 3:2 "But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner's fire And like launderers' soap. 3 He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver;
He will purify the sons of Levi, And purge them as gold and silver,
That they may offer to the LORD An offering in righteousness. NKJV
We are being fashioned, after our first coming
into being as flesh, at our birth, into an image only God can
form.
Job 14:15 "You shall call, and I will answer You; You shall desire the work of Your hands. . ."
God is creating something He
desires, something that is His own image workmanship.
Who is Jesus Christ?
John 10:30 "I (Christ) and [my] Father
are one."
Christ is the same as the Father.
John 14:9 "Jesus says to him, Have I been
so long time with you, and yet hast you not known me, Philip? he
that has seen me has seen the Father; and how say you [then],
Shew us the Father?"
- (Please note here: The Father and Christ are two distinct beings, not the trinity that so many believe makes up God. Christ came for many reasons, but one was to "reveal" Him to others. Many believe the Old Testament "God" is the same as the Father today, but this is not correct...
- John 6:46 "Not that anyone has seen the Father , except He who is from God; He has seen the Father."
- Moses saw "someone" but it wasn't the Father...
- Matt 11:27 "All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him."
- Christ came to reveal the Father to mankind!)
Hebrews 1:3 "Who being the brightness of
[his](God's) glory, and the express image of his (God's)
person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when
he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of
the Majesty on high;"
2 Cor 4:4 whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.
Col 1:15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.
Col 3:10 and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him...
What we see and know of the Father, we know
that Christ is the same as that.
John 17:5 "John 17:5
5 And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was."
What was this "glory" that Christ
had prior to being made flesh? It was the Glory of being a Divine
Spiritual Being, like the Father.
Acts 3:13 "The God of Abraham, and of
Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his
Son Jesus; whom you delivered up, and denied him in the presence
of Pilate, when he was determined to let [him]
go."
What was it that Thomas, one of the apostles, said to Christ once he saw that He was resurrected?
John 20:28 And Thomas answered and said to him, My Lord and my God.
Christ was clearly God, but He gave that glory/divinity up to give His life for the payment for sin. Christ was returned to that Divine State of Divinity and Glory.
Romans 8:29 ". . . that He (Christ) might
be the firstborn among many brethren."
1 Corinthians 15:20 "But now is Christ
risen from the dead, [and] become the firstfruits. . .
."
Christ has become the FIRST of something that
is to follow.
What is Man's
Destiny?
Romans 8:29 "For whom he (God) did
foreknow, he also did predestinate [to be] conformed to the image
of his Son..."
Gal 4:19 My little children, for whom I labor in birth again until Christ is formed in you,
Eph 4:13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;
Rom 8:29 "For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son , that He might be the firstborn among many brethren."
Gal 4:19 "My dear children, for whom I am again in the pains of childbirth until Christ is formed in you..."
Our purpose in life is to be conformed to the
same "image" fullness, mind and nature that Christ Himself is NOW.
Romans 8:16 "The Spirit itself bears
witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17 And
if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with
Christ; if so be that we suffer with [him] . . ."
Notice that??? We are JOINT heirs with
Christ!!! What does Christ have? . . .
John 3:35 "The Father
loves the Son, and has given all things into his
hand."
Rom 8:32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
Christ has ALL things... the entire universe is His.
WE will inherit that, along with Christ. However, it doesn't stop there
. . .
Romans 8:17, last part of the verse. . .
"that we may be also glorified together."
Not only does mankind inherit ALL that exists,
but we inherit life that never ends, and THAT life is as a member
of the God Kind... the God Family. Remember above what the
"glory" Christ talked about receiving back was, and later
DID receive? It is having the "glory" of being a
divine being.
Hebrews 12:10 "For they verily for a few
days chastened [us] after their own pleasure; but he for [our]
profit, that [we] might be partakers of his
holiness."
How do you partake of the Holiness of God
without being LIKE God?
2 Peter 1:4 "Whereby are given to us
exceeding great and precious promises: that by these you might be
partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption
that is in the world through lust."
Partakers of the Divine Nature... What is that
Nature? It isn't just eternal life... That nature is Spirit, Holy, Divine, and Eternal.
1 Corinthians 15:49 "And as we have borne
the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the
heavenly."
We are physical creatures now, limited to this
earth. However, we WILL bear the very image of God.
1 John 3:2 "Beloved, now are we the sons
of God, and it does not yet appear (isn't now a reality) what we shall be (in the future): but we know
that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we
shall see him as he is."
As spirit beings in the God Family, we will be
like Christ, who is like the Father.
Philippians 3:21 "Who shall change our
vile body, that it may be fashioned like to his glorious
body, according to the working whereby he is able even to
subdue all things to himself."
Our bodies will be like Christ's body...
what does THAT look like? . . .
Revelation 1:14 "His head and [his] hairs
[were] white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes [were] as
a flame of fire;"
Spirit is a totally different state of being,
beyond what we can imagine.
Hebrews 2:10 "For it became him, for whom
[are] all things, and by whom [are] all things, in bringing
many sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings."
Heb 12:10 "For they indeed for a few days chastened us as seemed best to them, but He for our profit, that we may be partakers of His holiness. 11 Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it."
2 Thessalonians 2:14 "Whereto he called
you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ."
Here again, we are told that we, too, will be
in "glory," just as Christ is now.
1 Peter 5:10 "But the God of all grace,
who has called us to his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after
that you have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish,
strengthen, settle [you]."
Colossians 3:4 "When Christ, [who is] our
life, shall appear, then shall you also appear with him in
glory."
2 Corinthians 3:18 "But we all, with open
face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed
into the same image from glory to glory, [even] as by the Spirit
of the Lord."
John 10:34 "Jesus answered them, Is it
not written in your law, I said, you are gods? :35 If he called them gods, to whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken; 36 Say you of him, whom the Father has sanctified, and sent into the world, you blasphemest; because I said, I am the
Son of God?"
Revelation 3:9 "Behold, I will make them
of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, (meaning they say they are "spiritual Jews" - Rom 2:29 - claim to be real Christians) and are not,
but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship
before your feet, and to know that I have loved
you."
We know that only God can be worshipped...
Rev 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said to me, See you do it not: I am your fellowservant, and of your brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
So why would Christ make these people (who are later converted) and are yet human, worship before the feet of those resurrected into their Family at Christ's return? Because they have been created, throughout life, into the God Kind and are the image of Christ AND the Father. (Notice, also, that these people who worship before those resurrected humans, aren't in hell as most presume will happen to those who are NOT in the first resurrection).
Acts 17:28 "For in him we live, and move,
and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said,
For we are also his offspring. :29 Forasmuch then as we
are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the
Godhead is like to gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and
man's device."
As the very offspring of God, we naturally
look like Him now, in form, and will completely be like Him when we have completed the process and are finally, as spirit children of God,
Born Again as Spirit into the very nature of God Himself.
John 17:21 "that they all may be one, as You, Father,
[are] in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that
the world may believe that You sent Me."
Christ clearly is asking the Father to make us one with them, AS
CHRIST AND THE FATHER ARE ONE TOGETHER. If Christ is God and the Father is God, how can WE become
"one" as THEY are one, and NOT be of the same life and nature?
Tell me this isn't radically different than
anything you've been taught in your life? God's plan is
far above what mankind has gleaned from God's word. God
doesn't give this understanding to everyone at this stage in
His plan. "Salvation," the process of being changed
into the very God family, isn't for
everyone NOW.
Is it for
you today?
