What is the True Gospel? The word "Gospel" simply means "good news." In other words, the Gospel is a complete message or story about something true and real, and which involves all of humanity. Christ makes a statement about the Gospel in Mark 1: 15 that is overlooked by most of Christianity, and ALL humanity for that matter. Christ says; ". . . The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent, and believe the gospel." Imagine for a moment that YOU had to sit down, right now, and write out an essay on exactly what the Gospel is? COULD YOU DO IT? Christ tells us that we are to "believe the Gospel." Unless you KNOW what the TRUE Gospel is, you can’t possibly believe it. Why use the word "true" in front of Gospel? Because there IS another Gospel out there, and MOST of Christianity believes THAT Gospel. Notice what Paul warns of: 2 Cor 11: 4 "For if he that comes preaches another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or [if] you receive another spirit, which you have not received, or another gospel, which you have not accepted, you might well bear with [him]" (you might accept this false messenger and Gospel). Gal 1: 6 "I marvel that you are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ to another gospel :7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. :8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than that which we have preached to you, let him be accursed." Paul is warning the Corinthian and Galatian brethren of "another" Gospel, another message that is meant to sound like the true Gospel, seem like the true Gospel, and replace the true Gospel, BUT IT ISN’T THE TRUE GOSPEL. This should make every Christian alive sit up and take close notice. Paul wasn’t just adding some more sentences into his letter. He was warning them about something which already existed, and was making headway in the new Christian church. A FALSE Gospel that was appealing to many of those who had received the true Gospel at one time, but who were now allowing this false message to influence them off the course Christ Himself laid out. HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT YOU" AREN'T BELIEVING A FALSE GOSPEL?How do you KNOW? How have YOU proven the Gospel you believe, WHETHER IT IS THE CHRISTIAN GOSPEL (OR ANOTHER Gospel ABOUT ANOTHER message, another religion, new age belief, NO belief, belief in science, etc.) FROM ANOTHER MESSENGER?Remember, the word Gospel means "good news." Generally speaking, you could use this word in various ways, under many different circumstances. For instance, wouldn’t you consider a cure for cancer as "good news?" How about world peace? Those who look to astrology for their horoscope readings would consider a good reading as "good news." A message from a "channeling spirit," being sought out by so many these days in the way of psychics, is virtually always good, and is considered "good news." These are, by any definition of the word, "gospels," but are they the TRUE gospel? Notice that there is a very distinct difference placed on the word gospel in the Bible: Mark 1:1 "The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God;" 1 Cor 4: 4 "In whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine to them." 2 Thes 1: 8 "In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:" This is the first point to be sure to have clear. It is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Clear and simple. His gospel, His good news, His message to the human race and His instructions on how to survive and develop as we should. There are many counterfeit gospels out there. In fact, if you really look at it, there is a "gospel message" for any choice you happen to want to make. How convenient for personal choice and free will, AND for a mind that is influenced by a power that makes all those "gospels" possible. Just take a look at the variety of Christian "gospels" that exist out there. Are they ALL right? Many assume that these gospels are all actually the same gospel, which conveniently makes all "believers" in that gospel message about Christ feel like one big happy family. Others believe that "their" gospel, "their" doctrines, "their" church is the only right true church. Of course, don’t they HAVE to believe that if they believe in ONE TRUE CHURCH? But then, we have to ask the question, WHICH one is THE right one, if there are so many differences? Which one is the right one if Christians even kill each other? Which ONE is the church Christ is building, right now? Notice 1 Cor 1:12-13: 12: "Now this I say, that every one of you says, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ. 13: Is Christ divided?" Here’s another way to read that scripture in today’s concepts: 12: "Now I say this, that every one of you says, I am of the Catholics; I am of the Protestants; I am of the Lutherans; I am of the Pentacostals; I am of the Baptists; I am of the Methodists; I am of the 7th Day Adventists; I am of Jehovah’s Witness . . ."(Need I go on with the many others that exist?) 13: " Is Christ divided like that?"THAT IS DIVISION, PLAIN AND SIMPLE. There is no way getting around it. So how do you determine what the true Gospel is, and where do you find it? The ONLY source you have to determine ANY truth is the Bible, AND contact with God. You can’t have one without the other to gain the truth. The Gospel ABOUT Jesus Christ IS NOT THE WHOLE GOSPEL. You see, the false Gospel spoken about in scripture is this very nearsighted view of God’s plan for mankind. Take a look at Gal. 3:8: "And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel to Abraham, [saying], In you shall all nations be blessed." WHAT? The Gospel was preached to Abraham, a figure in the Old Testament? But I thought the Gospel was a "New Testament" thing? I thought it was a message about Christ and being "saved?" What’s going on here? That’s the point. There is a WHOLE LOT MORE GOING ON here than what the traditional gospel which most of Christianity accepts today pictures. Are you willing to accept that fact? Revelation describes a time of terrible trouble to come to the earth, and every human alive will be affected by it. Unless you know what the TRUE Gospel is, how can you be included in the only way of escape . . . "And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved alive: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened." Luke 21:36 "Watch therefore, and pray always, that you may be accounted worthy to escape all these things (that Christ just warned about) that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man." Rev 12:14 "And to the woman (the church Jesus Christ is building NOW) were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, (3+1/2 year tribulation period) from the face of the serpent." Knowing the true gospel will make the difference between protection during the tribulation (not a rapture), and having to face Satan's wrath during the tribulation. Also, keep in mind the following scripture... Matt 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if (it were)possible, they shall deceive the very elect. These aren't "NON-christian" false Christs or false prophets.(religious imposters). They look, sound and seem like "Christian" and scripture tells us that some of the very elect... those who actually know and understand the true gospel, may be deceived by how "Christian"this deception will be. These words of Christ ring MUCH MORE true today than for His time, and we NEED to know the answer of what the TRUE GOSPEL really is . . . Mark 1: 15 ". . . the kingdom of God is at hand: repent, and believe THE Gospel!"So, once again, WHAT IS THE GOSPEL?If you don't know, then is God's truth really "a part of" your life, or is it "apart FROM" your life?The TRUE Gospel is FAR more than a gospel about Christ or being saved. THE Gospel is covered in the material on thegodkind.org, and isn't a simple one scripture statement. It encompasses the entire PLAN OF GOD, which includes every person ever born.YOU need to take the time to investigate this truth if religion and God mean anything to you. If you truly believe you are in contact with God, and that He is really a genuine part of your life, then why should you be afraid to look? The god of this world and age seeks to be worshiped, and IS being worshiped through the false gospels and religious systems of this age, INCLUDING much of traditional CHRISTIANITY. Are you a part of
